Class Rules

• I can remember to use my quiet feet in class.

• I can use kind words with my classmates.

• I can show respect to Ms. Plunkett and my classmates.

• I can participate in all of our classroom activities.

• I can show responsibility by completing my classwork and homework.

Rules for Technology

• Always return the tablets and computers back to their “safe spot”.

• Always clean your keyboard with a disinfectant wipe at the EOD.

• Limit of 1-hour computer time to do quizzes, work on homework, or go to any educational websites that are offered. *subject to change depending on class activities*

• In groups: follow the position policy to determine who gets to work on the computer.

  • Position policy-group of three or four students that will work together on assignments. Group roles are assigned by numbers allowing each child to participate in a different way.

Punishment:

Breaking any class rules: the student will have a one-on-one chat with Ms. Plunkett, if needed, the principal will also attend

Misuse of technology: the student will be banned from using technology in the classroom for one day, they will have to work on other school work and make-up missed work at home
