Fair Use
Fair Use is "a legal doctrine that promotes freedom of expression by permitting the unlicensed use of copyright-protected works in certain circumstances." In certain situations, such as teaching or researching, there are laws set into motion that we don't have to access permission from the copyright holder before quoting their work.
