A: The best way to contact me is by my school email: kristen.hedge@smail.astate.edu Q: How do I check to see if my child has homework? A: Their homework is sent home in their homework folder, but if you think you may be missing something please check the Homework page. Q: Can I send snacks with my child for their birthday? A: Yes, but the snack must be store bought. Feel free to contact me if you have a question about food allergies. Q: How often should I check my child's folder? A: Check your child's folder everyday; they receive either graded work or some type of announcement every day. Q: How will I know if the school is closed due to inclement weather? A: The school sends out notifications about school wide events, including school closings, using the Remind App. Q: What can I do if I know that my child will be absent from school one day? A: If you send a note/notify me ahead of time, I can send work home with them so that they have time to do it while they are gone and stay caught up. Q: How can I find out my child's grades? A: I send progress reports home every 9 weeks, but if you ever have questions about a grade your child received or how they are doing in a subject, please feel free to contact me. You may also view their grades in eschool. I update grades weekly. Q: What is for lunch? A: Check out the lunch menu on the school website!
