Copyright and Fair Use

Some materials on the internet have been copyright-protected by their owners. I, as a teacher, will show your child websites where there is not a copyright protection. If a student goes on their own and finds and uses materials that are copyright protected, they are violating copyright rules. I, and the school, do not assume responsibility for any copyright violations.

Any materials that I use in my classroom, if I do not own rights to it, I am using under the Fair Use clause of copyright laws.
