AUP Parent
Parents, I would like to take this opportunity to talk to you about creating your own acceptable use policy for home use. An acceptable use policy (AUP) is essentially the rules you expect your children to follow at home. Many of these rules are spoken and understood between parents and student, but it is always a good idea to have a written record of expectations and consquences. This way, your child will know exactly what will happen if they break these rules, and there is no misunderstanding. I would encourage having specific sections for each set of rules you expect your children to follow. I have created a template based off the acceptable use policy implemented in my classroom, should you choose to use it to make your own.
