Online Safety
What is online safety?
Online safety is the knowledge of knowing what you can and cannot do while on the internet. In my class, my students will learn what they should and shouldn't do while using the internet. They will learn to never give out personal information, do not click on anything that seems innapropriate, and to not use sites that aren't provided by the teacher. Online safety is very  important and should be implemented in homes as well.
How can we make sure our children stay safe while they are online?
-Spend time online with your children
-Set resonable time and usage limits
-Discuss the dangers of the internet with your child
-Make sure they know to never talk to strangers
-Make sure to never give out personal information
-Create passwords together with your child and make sure they know to keep it private
