Cyberbullying
Bullying is not something that
only happens physically in person. Bullying can take place in any
online capacity. When bullying takes place online, it is referred to
as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying can take place in many different
places online. For example, it can take place in text messages,
emails, social media, etc. Anything that is said that can be negative
or mean to someone in any way is cyberbullying.
Bullying of any kind will NOT be tolerated in our classroom.
If at any point a student is experiencing cyberbullying, they should contact
any adult that they trust. This can be a teacher, a parent, a family
member, etc. If someone is aware of others being cyberbullied, they
also need to tell an adult they trust so that it does not continue to
happen.
