As the world population continues to grow, so does our consumption rate. As our consumption rate increases dramatically, it then becomes a problem of where to displace all of this waste. Landfills become maxed out and land is shrinking with a suitable place to dump our waste. Our government has turned to space, lakes, oceans, land etc. for dispolation, but it’s just getting worse. As a result these pieces of land become polluted and no longer is suitable for life to live in or life to even be around. There are tons and tons of plastic displaced in our oceans that negatively affect our animals everyday. There are even plastic beaches that are completely covered in plastic waste. This issue is one that no everyone is aware of or can see the major impacts of throwing away one plastic bottle rather than recycling it. It is killing land animals and creating an inhabitable environment for the community around these dumping sites. This is our land, our neighborhoods, our homes, our animals, our earth. We need to understand how big our impacts are on our planet and understand how just recycling one bottle can help a whole community.

This website explains what you can do as an individual to take a step in a right directions with making decisions to help put less waste on our beaches
