Dear Parents and Guardians,

In our class this year, the students and I will be following an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Essentially, it is a set of rules and guidlines that we will follow throughout the school year. This includes, but is not limited to, rules for behavior, technology, and rules while walking in the hallway. The consequences for breaking the rules are listed in the AUP. This is an effective way to keep everyone accountable because the students and I are able to set standards for each other at the beginning of the year. I am including a simple template linked down below in case you would like to implement this at home. I highly reccommend and encourage this because of how effective it is!
