Copyright & Fair Use
When something is Copyrighted, it means that no one else can use or steal their idea. This includes things like books, poems, drawings, photographs, videos, or songs that were made by anyone but you. Whenever you or someone else creates something, it automatically becomes copyrighted, which means no one can take it from you unless you give them permission.
Fair Use involves the situations when it IS possible to use other peoples work without asking permission. For example, sometimes we use things in our classroom that fall under the fair use policy.

In our classroom, we will always follow all copyright and fair use laws to make sure we are being fair and respecful to other people!
