Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is the act of bullying someone else via communication using digital devices, such as, cell phone, computers, iPads, and video games.  For instance, sending messages that are hurtful or threatening another child.  This includes posting hurtful or harmful messages on social media or through text.

Teachers and parents should be aware of what their children and students are participating in online.  It is important to make sure our children are using the internet appropriately.  Children should be informed of the consequences of cyberbullying and how it can affect others.

Here are a couple of links about cyberbullying and how to prevent it from happening at school or at home.
