Copyright and Fair Use

Copyright is the protection of work that prevents anyone besides the owner from copying or sharing the work without the owners permission. Fair Use is a doctrine in the law of the United States that permits limited use of copyrighted material or work without having to aqcuire permission from the copyright holder first.
