On-line Safety - is very important to understand. Informing my student about all of the negative things on the internet and how to avoid them is not to scare theme but to inform them. In order to be safe online, students need to understand online strangers/predators and what to do when inappropriate content pops up. As a teacher, I can make sure that all websites and programs we use are secure and safe. They can also be blocked. Guarding personal information is also very important. Lasty, I can keep everything usfated. 

It is also very important that I inform my parents online safety and that they are practicing the same things at home so that familiarity and consistency is being woven in between home and school. As a teacher, I can also make sure that I am always there to monitor when my students are online. I need to make it very aware to my students that if anything suspicious happens, or bad pops up that it is okay to come to me and that they will not be in trouble.
