Online Safety

Keeping your students safe is a big priority of mine. In my class we will practice online safety. We will go over what it means to be safe and how to be safe.

Some things to never share online include: your name, address, phone number, age, and birthday. These things should be considered private information that you only share with close friends and family.

Physical and emotional harm can be a problem if you are not practicing online safety. Technology can be a way for predators to talk to your children. Always monitor what sites and things your children are doing on the internet.

Things to look for are: find kid friendly websites, monitor your child's activity, and make sure they are not chatting in chat rooms.

To be safe do all the things listed above and monitor your kids.
