Copyright and Fair Use
We need to be very careful with pictures and media (videos or music) we choose to include in our class projects. It is not fair to borrow one’s work without their permission. The internet has strict rules when we want to borrow one’s work, we must follow. Even though we may not have permisson to use certain materials, there are other types of media that is free to the public. We need to make sure each time we want to us a photo, video, or a song to investigate the rights. This is called copyright and fair use. In class, students will be taught to be aware of copy rights and fair use. As the teacher, I will be the example in implementing this in the classroom.
