Q:  When should I expect my child's progress reports or report cards?

A:  We send out progress reports every 4 1/2 or 5 weeks.  Report cards go out at the end of every 9 weeks.

Q:  If I do not come to Parent Teacher conference, will my child's report card be sent home with them?

A:  No. Report cards can only be picked up by parents or viewed on the school website with your parent login and password information.  If you do not come to parent/teacher conference and wish to receive a hard copy of your child's report card, it can be picked up at your convience for about a week after conference day in the office.

Q:  What is the best way to contact the teacher?

Q:  What time is my child's lunch and am I able to come and eat lunch with them?

A:  Kindergarten eats lunch at 11:00am, parents are allowed to come and each lunch with students so long as it isn't an every day thing, please reserve coming to lunch for special occasions. Parents should check in at the office and if you wish to eat the school lunch it costs $2.50.

Q:  What disciplinary actions can I expect to be taken if my chid misbehaves.

A:  I try to handle discipline as much as I can on my own, if a child is having behavior issues, consequences start with a verbal warning, if behavior continues, some recess time may be taken away, next a note is sent home to parents, and if the behavior continues beyond that point your child may be sent to the prinicipal's office for further discipline.

Q:  What time does Mrs. Stephens usually arrive at school?

A:  I am at school by 7:30am every morning.

Q:  What are the school CO-OP hours?

A:  The CO-OP is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm.

Q:  If I have a question regarding my child or class and you are not at school, who should I contact?

A:  The best person to contact would be Mrs. Stuart, the other Kindergarten teacher, but if she is not available you can get with the principal.

Q:  If my child is a car rider, where do I drop them off and pick them up?

A:  Car Rider line starts at the East School Entrance forms around the back of the school so as not to interfere with bus loading at the West School Entrance.

Q:  Is there an after school care program?

A:  The school currently does not have any after hours child care.
