On-Line Safety
  • Staying safe on-line is a major priority of mine as a teacher. At school we will only use safe software that is private, each child will have their own password, and more importantly we will only use the internet for learning.

  • Staying safe on-line at home is different. You should make sure your child is not posting anything personal on social media or the internet. This includes your phone number, their phone number, email address, house address, certain types of pictures, and of course make sure they do not talk to people you do not know. Remind them about "Stranger Danger"

  • Make sure you (student) or you (parent) ask for permission or give permission to do anything online.

  • Do not meet anyone you have met online, and especially do not go anywhere with someone you have met online.

  • There are great dangers on the internet that people cannot see, make sure to keep your children safe and if you are the child then make sure to listen to your parents and stay safe.

  • If you have any questions about something you saw or read, ask your parents.

  • If you see something you do not think is appropriate tell your parent or guardian immediately.

  • If someone send you something inappropriate tell your parent or guardian immediately.
