Digital rights and responsibilities are the digital users requirements and freedoms while using digital resources. Users must understand that they are capable of accessing different media through devices and the internet, but that doesn't give them the right to use it in a way that is innapropriate or allow others to use it innapropriately. To keep our rights available, it is our responsibility to use the services we are provided in a responsible way, and help others to do the same.

Examples include: Following the guidlines of an AUP and using digital resources responsibly by giving credit to original authors and not participating in inappropriate behavior.
