Plagiarism

Cheating (also known as plagiarism) is always prohibited in my classroom.

Plagiarism is the act of copying another person’s work or ideas without giving them credit for it.

If you worked really hard on an assignment in my classroom, you would not want someone else to take it and get credit for it, so please do not do this to others. You are smart, wise, well-capable, talented, and you can change the world. Let your school work always be unique, just like you.

Plagiarism is not only unacceptable, but copyright laws exist to protect those who have worked hard on their work and ideas. Although, fair use provides a few exceptions to these rules depending on the situation, it is wise to be original and creative in all assignments given by the teacher.
