COPYRIGHT & FAIR USE

A copyright means what people cannot use someone else's work without their permission. It is the lawful right of an author, artist, composer, or other creator to control the use of his/her work by others. Copyrighted work may not be duplicated, disseminated, or appropriated by others without the creator's permission. This includes drawings, photographs, books, videos, songs, or anything else that was made by someone.
Fair use materials are considered work that can be used in class environments only for the purpose of serving the needs for specific educational programs. For our classroom, we will follow all copyright and fair use rules to make sure that we are doing the best work possible.
