Digital Fluency

This simply means understanding the technology you have and knowing how to use it. If students know how to correctly use technology, they are less likely to misuse it. They are also more likely to stay on task.

For example, if a student needs to send the teacher an email, they are considered digitally fluent if they correctly type in the teacher's email, a subject line, and their message.

If a student is digitally fluent, they will be able to tell when a website is not secure or not.
