Child Hunger
Over thirteen million children in the United States currently live in food insecure homes. This means that when these children are home, they do not have a plan as to where their next meal is coming from.
Children need proper nutrition to do well in school. If they are hungry, their focus will be on that issue and not on what is going on in the classroom.
