Online Safety

Online safety is so important for both students and adults to understand.  The internet is a tool that can be dangerous if it is not used carefully.  Students must learn at a young age how to use it properly.   In my classroom I have rules that are specifically for internet use to ensure online safety. 

1. I must approve internet sites before getting on the internet.

2. If something on the internet makes you feel uncomfortable, come tell me immediately.

3. No cyberbullying will be tolerated. Be respectful of others online.

4. Do not give any information about yourself to anyone on the internet.

5. Do not download anything unless I have approved it first.
