Literacy
Literacy is the basic neccessity to all education that everything else builds upon. Literacy is the skill of being able to take the relevant information from text, understand it, analyze, and use it.
More than 95% of a child's brain is formed during the first six years of life so it is very important to give them the early foundations of reading as early as possible. This can be done through parent involvement like asking questions, bed time stories, etc.
According to Literacy For Life, one in four US adults lacks the basic
literacy skills for a typical job. About 800 millions adults around
the world struggle with basic literacy.
