Parent AUP
An AUP is an Acceptable Use Policy. This is a set of rules
that are created by one and are agreed upon by another, like a contract. An AUP
can help establish a set of rules, as well as the consequences. Together, you
and your child can create an AUP. A way to incorporate them in
this project would be to have them help you establish the rules to include on
the AUP. Not only can you brainstorm rules with them, but you both can decide on
the consequences for the rules you both just made together. By creating this, it
can help hold them more accountable than creating the rules and consequences by
yourself. I have attached a template of an AUP to help get you started if you
would like. While creating the AUP you can create how much or how little you
would like to make it personalized for you.
Below is a link to an AUP that you can use at home if you would like.
